Spokane County property owners have until April 30 to pay the first half of their 2026 property taxes, and the County Treasurer's Office is offering several convenient payment locations to help residents meet that deadline.
Staff from the Treasurer's Office will be available at Spokane Valley City Hall, 10210 E. Sprague Ave., on Friday, April 17, and Friday, April 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A second satellite location will be staffed at the North Spokane Library, 44 E. Hawthorne Rd., on Tuesday, April 21, and Tuesday, April 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Only check or credit/debit card payments are accepted at these locations, and applicable card processing fees will apply.
"Not everyone finds it convenient to visit the county courthouse, so we like to provide opportunities in other parts of the county so folks don't have to drive as far to get their taxes paid," said County Treasurer Mike Volz. "Of course, many people don't pay in person so we're always available to take a payment online, over the phone or by mail as well."
The Treasurer's main office at the Spokane County Courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway Ave., is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Drop boxes are available at the courthouse โ one outside the main entrance and one just inside before the security checkpoint โ but only accept checks with a payment stub and parcel number included. Annual tax statements were mailed on March 6. Second-half payments are due October 31.
