Get the facts before Election Day: November 3, 2026 JOIN THE WEBINAR:12pm Zoom Link 6:30pm Zoom Link About the EP&O Replacement Levy The Education Programs and Operations (EP&O) Levy provides local funding for programs, services and staffing that are not fully funded by state and federal dollars. CVSD has had a voter-approved EP&O levy in place for more than 50 years. What does “replacement” mean? The levy on the November 3 ballot is a replacement of CVSD’s existing EP&O levy—it is not an additional levy on top of the current EP&O levy. The replacement levy has a maximum estimated rate of $2.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value—the same maximum rate as the current EP&O levy. The actual tax rate may be lower depending on assessed property values and other factors. The current three-year levy expires at the end of 2027. If approved by voters, the proposed three-year replacement levy would take its place beginning in 2028 and continue through 2030.
