Fatal E-Bike Crash at Spokane Valley Intersection

A fatal collision between a vehicle and an e-bike occurred at the intersection of N. Progress Road and E. Valleyway Avenue in Spokane Valley on August 10, 2026, at approximately 8:00 a.m.

Spokane Valley Deputies reported that both the driver of a GMC Sierra pickup and the adult male e-bike rider failed to stop for posted 4-way stop signs before the crash. The e-bike rider was transported to a hospital but later pronounced deceased. Spokane Valley Firefighters and AMR provided life-saving measures at the scene.
