Starting Monday, July 27, multiple road closures and lane restrictions will impact Spokane Valley commuters. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced that up to two lanes of southbound I-405 will close nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. through Friday, July 31, between mileposts 18. 11 and 16. 45. Additionally, the center lane of southbound SR 527 will close nightly from 9 p.m. Monday through 12 a.m. Thursday, July 30, between 214th Street Southeast and the I-405 off-ramp.
WSDOT states that for SR 203, one lane will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through July 31 for paving work, with flaggers directing traffic. On US 395, a collision near Blue Creek Road caused a temporary closure from 6:10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 28, with a detour in place. Drivers should expect delays on all affected routes.
