Starting Monday, July 27, multiple road closures will impact Spokane Valley commuters. I-405 will have southbound lane closures nightly until July 31, and SR 527 will close its center lane nightly through Thursday. State Route 203 will also close one lane overnight for paving between Duvall and Monroe.
WSDOT's public record states the closures will run from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. on I-405, 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. on SR 527, and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on SR 203. Flaggers will direct traffic on SR 96, SR 20, and US 2 during daytime hours. The I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 30th Street will close nightly through Wednesday, July 29.
Residents should plan for traffic delays during these nighttime and early morning hours. WSDOT advises drivers to allow extra time for commutes and follow detour signs when available.
