Spokane County Tax Deadline Approaches

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Spokane County property owners must pay their first half property taxes by April 30, according to the Office of the County Treasurer. The treasurer's office is hosting payment locations in Spokane Valley and North Spokane to make it easier for residents to pay without traveling to the courthouse.

The Spokane Valley City Hall at 10210 E. Sprague Ave. will host payment locations on April 17 and April 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The North Spokane Library at 44 E. Hawthorne Rd. will host payments on April 21 and April 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Only check or credit/debit payments are accepted at these locations, with card fees applying. The main treasurer's office at the Spokane County Courthouse is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Taxpayers can also pay online, by phone, or by mail. Annual property tax statements were mailed on March 6. Spokane County allows property owners to split their tax obligation in two, with second half payments due October 31. More information is available at www.spokanecounty.gov/treasurer.
