🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Spokane County Assessor's Office updated its Tax Transparency Tool with 2027 tax estimates on May 28, 2026. The tool allows residents to see projected property tax amounts based on current assessments.

The update includes new information about Senior/Disabled Persons Exemption improvements set to begin in 2027 per Senate Bill 6162. The exemption changes will affect savings for residents with assessed property values around $300,000. Spokane County Planning Commission will meet on May 28, 2026, to discuss growth plans with public outreach events scheduled for September through October 2025.

Residents can access the Tax Transparency Tool online to review their projected 2027 property tax estimates. The Senior/Disabled Persons Exemption changes will take effect in 2027 with new income thresholds for qualifying residents.
