Spokane Valley City Council approved a $2 million project to resurface 15 miles of city roads on August 17, 2026.
The project will target residential streets in the North Valley and South Valley neighborhoods, prioritizing roads with the highest pothole density. The city says the work will begin in October and continue through December.
The council's decision follows a public hearing where residents expressed concerns about deteriorating road conditions.
