Spokane Valley Fire Relief Centers Open

Spokane Valley residents affected by recent wildfires can now apply for state cash assistance in person at two locations beginning August 14. The state’s Individual Assistance program offers support to those impacted by fires in Central and Eastern Washington.

The St. Michael’s Academy Gymnasium at 8500 N. St. Michaels Road will be open from August 14 to August 21, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a possible update on August 19. Fire Station 8 in Stevens County at 5972 WA-291 Nine Miles Falls will be open from August 17 to August 20, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Red Cross representatives will be available at both locations for additional resources.
