Spokane Valley residents can now subscribe to the new Alert Spokane program, which uses Regroup! software for public safety alerts. The program replaces the previous alert system and encourages residents to fully complete registration forms to receive incident notifications near their homes. Residents can register for alerts through the Spokane County website, with separate links for neighboring counties including Kootenai, Pend Oreille, Stevens, and Whitman. The system aims to improve communication during emergencies by providing timely notifications to the public. The Alert Spokane program was announced on July 7, 2026, with the new software now active. Residents are urged to register to ensure they receive important safety information during emergencies.
