State Individual Assistance (State IA) program cash aid is now available for Spokane Valley residents impacted by recent fires in Central and Eastern Washington.

Applications can be submitted in person at Spokane Central Library on W. Main Ave. and two fire stations through August 21. The library location is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fire Station 91 in Fairwood operates 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, while Fire Station 8 in Stevens County is open 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
