Spokane Valley Property Tax Notices to Mailed June 1

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Spokane County Assessor Tom Konis announced that 215,500 real property valuation notices for 2027 property taxes will be mailed starting June 1, 2026. The notices will include the assessed value of properties used to calculate 2027 property taxes. The Spokane County Assessor's Office also updated its Tax Transparency Tool with 2027 tax estimates, allowing taxpayers to see where their tax dollars go and estimate future tax amounts based on current assessments.

The new tool helps taxpayers understand how property taxes fund local services such as fire protection, libraries, parks, and public schools, according to information from the Department of Revenue.

Senate Bill 6162, which takes effect in 2027, will impact Senior/Disabled Persons Exemption savings with new income thresholds. The exemption estimates provided by the Assessor's Office are based on an assessed value of $300,000 within the City of Spokane.
