WSDOT announced several road closures and lane restrictions effective this week for maintenance and utility work in Spokane Valley. The right lane of northbound SR 522 will close from 8 p.m. Aug. 5 to 3 a.m. Aug. 6. Eastbound I-90 off-ramps to Snoqualmie Pkwy and westbound I-90 off-ramp to SR 18 will close nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on July 31 and Aug. 1.
Additional closures include two lanes of I-90 between Eighth Avenue South and the floating bridge from 8 p.m. Aug. 4 to 3 a.m. Aug. 5, and a right lane closure on eastbound SR 526 from 9 p.m. Aug. 6 to 5 a.m. Aug. 7. Drivers should follow signed detours and expect delays of up to 20 minutes on SR 211 on July 31.
WSDOT advises drivers to plan for potential delays and follow detour signs. The closures are scheduled to end by Aug. 10, with the longest closure on I-405 running from 11:30 p.m. Aug. 7 to 4 a.m. Aug. 10.
